About Us

Geneva Region Youth Cricket Club (GRYCC) is a club for young players aged from 5 to 19, run 100% by volunteers. Since 2004, we have grown from a small collection of die-hards to a fully-functioning club with sides from Under 9s to a Colts side which competes in the adult league.

We provide training from qualified coaches, fixtures against Swiss counterparts and competitions both at home and abroad. We want you to be the best that you can be so our coaching is dedicated to helping you improve your cricket skills, build your fitness and teach you the tactics and mental aspects of the game. And remember, you improve most by training regularly! We are strong supporters of swiss youth cricket and we encourage our players to represent swiss national age groups sides.

What does the future hold?
We don’t want to just produce cricketers who play the game the right way, we want to provide a legacy for the future. We’re the first club in the country to develop fully functioning indoor cricket training facilities. But cricket is an outdoor sport, so we’re setting our sights on developing a ground and nets facility focussed on youth cricket in the Geneva area.

At what age should my child join?
We start with children of 5 years of age, we take beginners as well as those with years of playing experience. Either way, our aim is to help you to become as good a cricketer as you can be and to enjoy the camaraderie of playing alongside other true enthusiasts.

Family Involvement
We are a family club so dads, mums, brothers and sisters are all welcome to come along and meet up and enjoy the friendly, welcoming club spirit. We are a completely voluntary club and we rely upon parents to support everything we do. So whether you want to coach, score, umpire, or help in any small way, we would be delighted to hear from you.
